The Designers...

Juan Carlos & Alicia

 

 

Juan Carlos and Alicia Suarez, husband and wife, are natives of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where they dedicated a great part of their lives in developing their skills and mastering this artistic dance. Juan Carlos started to dance at a young age and devoted his youth to performing the Tango in the dance academies of his beloved city.

He learned to dance in schools of the Barrio and was soon able to teach both men and women how to combine their skills in the proper execution of the dance with style and elegance.

Juan Carlos and Alicia arrived to New York in 1966 and in 1978 moved to Houston, Texas where, as in New York, they became members of the "Argentinian House" of Houston, sharing social events and special celebrations in the Hispanic community.

In 1995, they began teaching groups of people of all ages at several venues around Houston, and at the present time, City Dance Studio, located at 5416 Chaucer, Houston 77005.

Many people became students as well as fans after learning of their wonderful talent by attending one or more of their dance expositions:
